Journalist

Journalism is a great passion of mine and I have a strong belief in a free and competitive press to hold those in power to account.

I have a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Sunderland. My experience includes years of producing radio shows with a strong journalistic edge.

Other experience includes presenting news bulletins, I freelanced for a number of months for Metro Radio (part of the commercial Bauer network of stations).

During my time at the University of Sunderland I worked for the community radio station Spark FM.

I worked on a free newspaper in the City of Sunderland on a voluntary basis for a number of months, which gave me invaluable print journalism experience.
